2. Select the network named "VE_UFO_xxxx".

3. Wait for the WiFi icon on the menu bar to change and indicating that there is a connection "ad-hoc" to the UFO. It may take up to one minute to build up the connection.

Wi-Fi Home Network Connection
1. Once your laptop connection is at "ad-hoc" mode, open your web browser and type the URL: www.ufo.com.

2. The first page shows the current configuration of the UFO.

3. Write down the registration key if you want to sign up for Visible Energy Web Portal later.

4. Click on the "Setup" button.

5. Once you have all the information to access to your WiFi network, click on "Proceed".

6. Type your network name as your SSID (Note: SSID is case sensitive), then select the type of your network encryption, and type in your password. Click on the "Change" button to save the new configuration.

8. Once you saved the new WiFi configuration, a message will pop-up. Click on "OK" and wait for the UFO to restart automatically.

Troubleshooting
- If the browser fails to fetch the home page from the UFO when accessing www.ufo.com, your laptop has a static DNS setting. Use http://192.168.1.141 instead.
- If after completing the procedure described, and restarting the UFO it does not connect to the Wi-Fi network, it will keep blinking the top green LED. After four minutes of trying to join the Wi-Fi network, it will time out and fallback into "ad-hoc" mode allowing for changing the Wi-Fi parameters restarting from the beginning of this Guide. The UFO has timed out in "ad-hoc" mode when the top LED is flashing yellow.
- If you are sure the Wi-Fi parameters are correct, and the UFO still times out, it may help to move the UFO closer to the access point or router. Sometimes, interferences can limit the range the UFO can be reached.
